The month is free if we cannot prove a saving
$29.00 a month, flat. CIPatch reads your Actions history, opens one conservative pull request, and measures what it saved after you merge it. A month in which we verify no saving is a month we do not charge you for — so the risk of finding nothing is ours, not yours.
How it works
- Scan a repository, or just install the GitHub App. The first scan needs no account and changes nothing.
- CIPatch reads your real Actions history and opens one conservative draft pull request, with the evidence and a rollback line.
- You review and merge it — or close it. Nothing is merged automatically, and closing costs you nothing.
- After the merge it compares comparable runs: at least 10 runs over at least 14 days on each side, matched on workflow, runner and trigger.
- You get a verdict either way: verified saving, no material change, regression, or insufficient evidence.
- A period with a verified saving is charged at the flat price. A period without one is not charged at all.
Why flat, and why this is fair
CIPatch used to charge a share of the savings it proved, and the model did not survive contact with the evidence. The median repository the public scanner has priced saves under a dollar a month, so a share meant almost nobody ever paid anything — including people who were happy with it. It also could not be collected: a merged change cannot be un-merged and there is no card on file, so a share was a number nobody was obliged to settle.
A flat price is payable, and the guarantee keeps it honest. We charge for a month in which a saving was proved, and not otherwise. If the saving you see on the dashboard is smaller than $29.00 a month, cancel — the dashboard says as much, and we will not argue.

What if you find nothing worth changing?
Then that month costs nothing. A repository with nothing to save simply never generates a charge, which is the honest answer even when it is not the one we would prefer to give.
What if the change turns out to be worse?
A regression is reported as a regression, the rollback line is in the pull request, and the period is not a verified saving — so it is not charged for.
Is it a contract?
No term beyond the month. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period, and anything already merged into your workflows stays merged and keeps saving you money.
Do you need write access to our repositories?
The App asks for what a draft pull request needs and nothing more. Nothing is merged automatically, secrets and logs are never read, and the raw history behind every number stays in your dashboard.
