Plain-language description of how the service actually operates. It is provided for clarity and is not legal advice.
The service
CIPatch analyses GitHub Actions usage and proposes conservative, reviewable workflow changes. It opens draft pull requests that a human must review and merge. Nothing is merged automatically, and no change is made to application code, tests, secrets or deployments.
What CIPatch does not promise
- It does not promise a fixed percentage or dollar saving. Pull requests state a range; the post-merge measurement states the outcome, and "insufficient evidence" is a valid result.
- It is not a guarantee of CI performance, availability, or security outcomes.
- Estimates before a merge are projections from your own history or from stated assumptions, labelled as such.
Your responsibilities
- Review every proposed change before merging. You own the change you merge.
- Only connect repositories you are authorised to connect.
Plans and payment
Plans are billed monthly by managed repository capacity, not per seat. Paid self-service checkout is not enabled yet; while it is disabled, use of the service is free of charge. When enabled, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and a lapsed subscription reverts to the Free plan rather than continuing to provide paid features.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venkatesh M K is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to the amount paid in the three months preceding a claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may suspend or terminate an installation that abuses the service, for example by attempting to use it against repositories we are not authorised to read.
